Broadly speaking the design process works through five stages:
– The Brief
– Space Planning & Creative Concepts
– Sourcing & Specifying
– Purchasing
– Project Delivery
the brief
your ideas and vision
Whatever the project, we follow the same process. The first step is to agree a thorough brief, ensuring that we fully understand what you want to achieve, your style, your budget and the time-line you are working to.
We’ll talk about how you use the space, how it might need to be
improved, preferences on style and colour, perhaps favourite pieces of furniture or treasured artwork that you’d like to include in a scheme. We love to work collaboratively with clients, so its great to have a good understanding of what makes you tick, before we get to work on the design.
Once we have a clear idea of what you’re hoping to achieve, we’ll provide you with a scope of works, which outlines the project brief and gives an estimate of our fees for our design service.
space plans & concepts
planing & visualisation
Once we understand your needs and how you want to use your home, we can
develop plans to make the most of your space.
– Detailed floor plans to illustrate how the space will work and how furniture will be set out. Consideration will be given to electrical & lighting requirements. Where fitted furniture is required, concepts & elevations will be supplied to illustrate the designs.
– To help you visualise the look and feel of your new room, we provide creative concepts boards to illustrate colour palette and style. This phase of design work aims to give you a broad idea of how your new space will come together
source & specify
bespoke design schemes
We will develop schemes unique to each client and provide a package showing everything you need – this covers everthing from furniture to flooring, window treatments. lighting and artwork.
– Sample boards will be presented giving you the opportunity to touch and feel fabrics and get an impression of the scheme as a whole.
– Alongside this will be your furniture catalogue detailing each of the items proposed in your scheme including detailed costings.
We make life easy for you; sourcing and costing all fittings and furniture to provide a stress free service… and an end result with wow factor.
procurement
making your life easier
We purchase everything on your behalf. Our ‘little black book’ of suppliers and craftsmen means that we’re able to create truly unique schemes for our clients. By commissioning us to purchase on your behalf, you will benefit from the discounts and unique products which are only available to the trade.
– We will manage the design and approval process for bespoke items – this includes detailed drawings for your approval.
– All items approved for purchasing will be ordered and stored ready for the agreed installation day.

how we charge
a fixed fee
For Phase 1 and 2 we work to a fixed fee based on the agreed scope of works. This design applies to space planning & concepts, and sourcing & specifying and allow for one set of client revisions.
Once Phase 2 is complete we are able to provide quotes for the following: Contractor Briefings where required; Assistance with project management and White Glove Delivery & Installation.

WOW!House 2026 did not disappoint.
We kicked off the afternoon with a meet and greet from Young Huh, celebrating the launch of her new book A Mood, A Thought, A Feeling, sponsored by Benjamin Moore (a long-time favourite of ours).
A few highlights from the day:
✨ The Lalique Home Bar by @elicyon
An extraordinary space that balanced craftsmanship, detail and atmosphere perfectly. The illuminated bar backdrop was a real showstopper and the perfect place to pause and take it all in.
✨ The Primary Bedroom by @salvesengraham
A beautifully layered scheme centred around a striking four-poster bed. The botanical wallpaper wrapped the room entirely, creating a wonderfully cocooning and immersive feel.
✨ The Speakeasy Salon by @studioduggan
If we had to choose a favourite, this might be it. Rich, moody tones, incredible character and a sense of drama that felt both luxurious and inviting.
✨ The Martin Moore Kitchen with @samanthabartlettinteriors
A masterclass in thoughtful cabinetry design. We loved the subtle fluting to the island, the beautifully detailed shelving with integrated lighting and the way every element balanced practicality with elegance.
It is always inspiring to see how designers interpret space, colour, texture and craftsmanship in such different ways.
