Master Bedroom Planning

SPACE PLANNING

In this large master suite, we started with the superking bed with a large shaped patterned headboard in one of our favourite fabrics – Rapture & Wright Webbs Wonder.

In the bay window, with views to the garden, we added a bespoke fitted dressing table with loads of additional storage.

A large velvet chaise in a soft aqua filled the corner with a side table and one of the prettiest floor lamps on the market! This is the first aspect you see on entering the room so important to get right and set the scene.

A blue textured wallpaper added another luxe layer and has the ability to make a room feel more cosy – especially in larger spaces.

DESIGN DETAILS

The headboard design is quite often the item we think about first in terms of design.  There are so many options but it will really dictate how the rest of the room is designed!

The navy velvet edging contrasts with the face fabric and lifts off the textured blue wallpaper.

Designed fitted furniture is an art in itself.  We think about what is going to be stored and also whether electrical points are requiried – a dressing table always needs a hairdryer point!

Decorative lighting can also be incorporateed ensuring there is a neat hole for the plug to go through to the sockets below.
